  : Spacious apartment, beautiful scenery. Well equipped unit
  : Check in staff were rude and unhelpful. Upon checkin at 5pm I explained to them thay i was in a bit of a hurry to drop bags and see where the unit was as i had a work commitment in an hour. Room was not ready but instead spoke about me to one another and thought I didn't understand Portuguese until i corrected them. If check in is from 4pm... how can the room nit be ready well after 5pm? They made no effort to show me where the room was. They said they would send me a pin location, it only came through after i had to leave the resort for my work commitments. 12.30am the evening upon returning, the units are so badly numbered, i could not locate the unit. I had to drive around looking for someone to assist.. we eventuallygot into our unit 1.20am!!!!. I paid for breakfast but it was not allocated. Upon arriving for breakfast the gentleman explained we could have breakfast and sort it out later. I did not havd breakfast but left my daughter and mom to eat while going back to the reception area to clarify. I had indeed paid for breakfast but by 10.50am was not going to rush back and throw food down my throat, instead asked for a refund. Upon returning to the restaurant, my mom and my daughter barely ate anything... there was no variety. Breakfast at the Mare was poor.

  : The resort as a whole is very nice. The friendliness of the staff. The apartment area. The swimming pool is quite acceptable. There are some good restaurants within 5/10 kms.
  : The state of conservation of the apartment is poor considering that it is a four star resort. Some examples of deficiencies are: the entrance door did not lock from the inside with a key; the water heater did not allow for an acceptable regulation of the bath water temperature; the tumble dryer didn't work; remaining kitchen appliances quite degraded; plastic furniture on the balconies falling apart; absence of rubbish bins in bathrooms; poor ventilation in one of the bathrooms; kitchen door sufficiently run down.

  : A little rundown and dingy. Dirty floor grout. Non working coffee maker and lights. Door not shutting. Shower spraying all over bathroom floor.

  : Very bare inside, minimum kitchen equipment and missing some things (ie. Only a pair of wine glasses).Expected more for the type of accommodation, but it varies with the unit.

  : Large and fully equipped apartment for four people with very nice pool area and good access to the beach.

  : Very comfortable, well equipped property close to Mare Seafood Restaurant where we had a very good evening meal and breakfast. The beach was stunning.
  : We paid 35E each to use pool facilities at the main hotel for the day. The pool was freezing and too cold to swim in, so we felt it was not worth the fee which was essentially for a towel and a chair.
