  : We loved our stay at Casa do Relogio and we loved bidos. Our room was basic but provided us with what we needed for a two night stay. Our room had a cute view of the narrow street next to hotel and we loved being out on the terrace when we had time. The owner was really nice and happily lend me a hair dryer when I asked for one, as there was none in the room. The breakfast was good and plentiful and a good start in the day. It would be nice to have the option to eat it outside as the terrace is so nice, but I can understand if that might be more work for the owner. The location is good, just by the wall and to two of entrances to the old city (and the main entrance is also not far away). Note that there are two restaurants close by, one is underneath in the same building and you will hear some noise from them in the evening. But it didnt bother us at all as it all became dead quiet sometime between 11 and 12 and we liked hearing "the life outside" ;) . Just dont be surprised by it. To spend our last days in Portugal in bidos and Casa do Relgogio was a perfect end for our short holiday.
  : An air con or a fan was missing in the room and would be good for hotter days. But we did hear other guests talk like there was one in their room so maybe it was just our room without one.
