  : Concierge was helpful and knowledgeable. Beds, linen and bath linen all great. Location brilliant. Quickly arranged a replacement room for my 75+ yo parents when their original one had very steel internal stairs.
  : Drug dealers on steps to apartments - no ones fault but a bit off putting with kids. Advertised as having a tumble dryer which it didn't. Not a problem but could have done with a frame for hanging washing - had to use various railings and bannisters.

  : Location, location, location!!! The apartments are behind the Krasnapolsky Hotal, on a canal. They are a short walk from several tram lines and a little more of a walk to Centraal Station. It was really nice to have a small kitchenette and living room for our extended stay in Amsterdam. We relied primarily on the trams for transportation throughout the city and did a lot of exploring. There is no Wifi in the apartments, but from some, one can get on the wifi from the burger joint next door. The stairs are your standard Amsterdam canal house stairs and the lift is nearly as perilous. But if you go into it knowing that, you're fine. The front desk was extremely helpful. Our heat was broken and they had someone there with space heaters within an hour (in the evening) and it was fixed the next day. Housekeeping came about every four days and did an excellent job of keeping the rooms clean. There is also a large closet with washer and dryer which is extremely convenient.
  : The couch in the living room is about the least comfortable piece of furniture I have ever experienced. But that is my only complaint. I do have a bad knee and the stairs were a little hard, but we were only on the first and a half floor, so there wasn't that many stairs.
