  : Our recent stay at Calisto in Amsterdam was a great experience. This charming room, in the heart of the city, was the perfect balance between simplicity and coziness, making me feel like I was coming back to my own home. While there's a bit of street noise due to the lively surroundings, the room's charm overshadows this minor inconvenience. The bathroom was clean and new. My only suggestion would be to consider adding a fixture for hanging towels. All in all, my time at Calisto was a great stay of comfort and charm. The blend of simplicity, coziness, and thoughtful design made this room a true gem in Amsterdam. If you're looking for a place that feels like a warm embrace from the moment you step in, I wholeheartedly recommend experiencing Calisto for yourself.

  : Too much noise, you hear everything that happens on the streets and in the hotel :/ not very isolated rooms I barely slept so unfortunately wouldnt come again for that reason Also no privacy as the street flat opposite my room could look inside if I didnt close the curtains.

  : Cozy, clean room in a very good location. Busy street with lots of great restaurants and boutiques. Everything within walking distance. Room is bright with lots of light and a big window. Bed is comfortable and WiFi works well.
  : Steep, narrow stairs, little difficult with heavy luggage. The air ventilation in the bathroom is loud and there was a lot of dirt from some drilling through the wall on the bathroom floor. No table to work or sit.

  : We had a great stay at Hotel Calisto. The location is fantastic - right in Jordaan and on the trendiest street. The room is quite basic but comfortable and tastefully decorated. We were in Amsterdam during a heat wave and the hotel thought to put standing AC units in the rooms which SAVED us. The bistro on the bottom floor is lovely and has an amazing wine selection. I would absolutely stay here again. Only strange thing is that there didn't seem to be a dedicated hotel staff. Whenever we had a questions or needed help we had to go in and ask the restaurant staff. They were always kind and super helpful, but if you're the type of traveller who likes all the amenities and usually relies on help from the hotel to organize stuff, you will be on your own here.
  : Our room did not have a trash can and both lamps weren't functional (they were supposed to be "rechargeable" but still did not work after we charged them and we tried everything lol)
