: Francesco, who welcomed us, was lovely. He was super helpful and gave great recommendations for places to eat and so on.
: I'm sure it was my fault for not reading the small print, but I was sure there would be a terrace - every picture seems to show one, so please check this when you're booking. The kettle, or the electrical socket the kettle goes into, work only intermittently - they need to be checked out - this could be dangerous (we unplugged the kettle after use).I think Booking.com could be more generous with their welcome than the one bottle of water in the fridge. Also, there's a washing machine, but no detergent to use in it, and there's a reasonably well equipped kitchen, but no tea towels etc.And finally, I have never been in a smaller shower in my life - I am 5'2" and a size 8 but I felt squished! (Oh and the bathroom door sticks!)

: The location is very close to the beach and cableway to get to Taormina. The property was very clean and quiet at night. Felt very secure. The host was responsive and sent some recommendations for the area.
: The meeting place with rough YouTube instructions werent the easiest to understand. It would be nice if the host would just meet at the meeting place, rather than sending the YouTube video. It would take two minutes to walk up and meet, rather than dealing with a lot of confusion as soon as you arrive. A set of single flat pillows to sleep with didnt feel like enough, the couch and comforter were old and scratchy and not the quality youd expect.

: Great place, but we copped bad weather, probably the worst in a while. Experience on its own.
  : It was as expected.

: The location is marvelous and the decor charming. All of the details are well thought out. The staff are lovely, as well.
: I would recommend packing lightly as the parking area is a bit far from the entrance to the apartment. There are many stairs involved, too. However, with that said, once you are all in, it is well worth any struggle for the view and proximity to the beach.

: Water crystal clear and beautiful.
: To get to property you must go down 5 sets of dark, broken, often smelly stairs....then across a beach front path for a bit. The pictures appear to have balconies but they do not.The public beach in front of building is VERY small crowded, dirty and the rental-excursion boat businesses encroach on what little space there is.The photos are much nicer that actual place.Beware of bar next door...92 euro for 4 drinks- Mazzaro Sea Palace

: We chose this apartment as it has decent kitchen facilities as we wanted a mixture of eating out, but the option to eat in too (definitely the case with breakfast). The apartment had a decent view over the bay and almost direct access to the beach which was handy when we spent time sunbathing or snorkling /swimming. Shower facilities were good too. Good water pressure and hot water.
: The walls to other apartments were a little thin so sometimes outside sounds would come in, but nothing major. It would have been handy for the apartment to be supplied with a small amount of washing powder (for washing clothes), but there was washing up liquid and lots of loo roll.

: The location was right by the beach
: There was no hot water at all and very little water pressure (just a trickle) for the entirety of my 6 night stay. I was told that this is because of a local fire, but other apartments were not affected, nor were other properties nearby. I was not able to shower, wash my clothes or wash dishes. The electricity often shorted out, leaving me with no aircon or lights. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the apartment was extremely loud as bathroom window opened into the hallway where people constantly slammed doors and had loud conversations. I left early, please stay somewhere else unless you want your holiday ruined like mine was.

: The electrics were a little dodgy.

  : location was great.
: the amount of stairs ! also there was an issue with the water, most days there was either no water at all or very little water pressure so almost impossible to shower (very limited hot water)
