  : The room was very clean and the staff very friendly. You stay in an old Italian villa at a location that is surrounded by green and makes you feel you are away from everything. The breakfast was elaborate, although a lot of the choices were cakes and other sweets. Coffee and eggs freshly made-to-order. At 5 min walking there is a pizza place / bar / everything shop with the best pizza we had in our entire stay in Italy. Really good restaurants in the area, but also the restaurant at the hotel was nice and definitely worth at least one visit during your stay.
  : The facilities were a bit outdated in some areas and could use a paint job, like the pool area. Also, huge problem were the mosquitoes. We kept the windows in the room closed since the insect screens were also in need of replacement. This worked fine in combination with the airco, but being outside pretty much anywhere in Tuscany requires a huge amount of bugspray and/or skin covering clothing.
