  : The behavior of the receptionist. The room given to us which was not the one I selected and paid more to get. The pictures in the confirmation email is not matching with the given one. Although the room I selected was empty for full day, the receptionist insisted not to give it by saying booking.com puts random pictures but they give whatever is available. As far as I remember there were different offers and I choose the one more expensive just to have nicer view, so I believe I paid more that it deserve.As we already checked out and it's late to fix this issue but at least the price difference extra paid should be back from the accommodation.

  : We booked a balcony, but they the oncharge lady have us a room on the roof literally on the roof without a view nor a balcony this was very disappointing, especially with no elevator , and the hotel have no service just cleaning which it's fine for a short time

  : The view from our room was to absolutely amazing! The property is steps away from the water. However, you have to pay 30 Euros for seats on the beach. The hotel has beach chairs but they are far away from the beach. The rooms are clean. There are a few stairs to get the rooms. The hotel is super close to the pier. Theres also a lemon tree on the property!
  : No is hot water kettle or coffee in the rooms. Theres also no breakfast available at La Caravella. For the price they should consider putting at least a hot water kettle for tea or coffee.

  : To get to the property you have to descend approximately 1,000 stairs, where cars cannot go. When we were dropped by the taxi at the top of the hill and told this we called Caravella to see if someone could help us, the man said: Itll be 200 Euros just walk its close. After an already long day of traveling, we walked with all of our heavy luggage and a 5yo down the crowded stairs. We later learned there is a luggage porter that charges 10 euro per bag which we gladly wouldve paid. Once at the property we discovered that it was once a house that was split into different sections that they call apartments. We had no kitchen in our apartment. The wiring in the building was janky, emergency flood lights came on in the room at 4:30am because the fuse was tripped by the air conditioner. It was as bright as day in the room and they could not be turned off. Finally when the electricity reset and the ac came back on the floor lights went off. The property is fully tiled and the sound reverberates. We could hear the other guests who were very loud all day and night. When it was time to leave, the property manager Sra Rosa said she would arrange the porter to take out bags up and a taxi to get us at 7am. She insisted we pay her cash directly-170, 20 over market which I suspect Caravella kept the extra 20. The porter worked great he was there on time and drove our luggage to the top of the hill. The taxi however was not there. We called Caravella bc we paid them. They kept repeating he was on his way and to keep waiting. We called about 8x. They then told us just to handle it ourselves. We told them we paid them cash and they had to handle it they said someone would be there in a few minutes. A taxi did arrive and we left, 50 minutes late. We found out in the cab that the cab driver who was supposed to take us took that drivers fare, he never asked their names, so when Caravella told us many times to wait bc he was on his way, they werent being truthful.
