  : I don't know where to start with our stay here, the whole experience was terrible. Firstly, our room was dirty, there were other people's hair in the shower along with old shower gel stuck to the walls. Our sink was leaking, covering the bathroom in water when we turned it on. There were stains on our bed clothes, the security of the room was really bad, we couldn't leave the window open as it opened onto somebody else's terrace. Only one socket worked in our room, we were unable to leave the fan on and charge our phones at the same time. The hostel is located in an unpleasant area, it was down dark alleys, totally unsuitable for bringing luggage.We did not feel safe at all. We were supposed to stay three nights but only stayed one. We got out of there as fast as possible. When we wrote an email to the owner of the hostel about our experience the email was ignored (we gave them a full week to respond, sent to two different emails). They had no problem taking our money, it was horrible, stay clear :(

  : Good location Staff were nice Bed was decent
  : It was messy and poorly set up for socialising in my opinion. There was no sofa or comfortable seating or social activities. Personally i can forgive a place that has cheap, bad equipment (which this place does) if there is a good social vibe. But there was no social vibe. There needs to be more effort to get people together, eg gave 1 night a week where people go to a bar in the evening or eat dinner. Or if the football is on, put that on the tv and let people drink beers. Simple things like that go a long way because the breakfast time is dead (since the kitchen/lounge place is so uncomfortable) and there is no communal time for meeting follow travellers

  : I was "accidentally" charged for the booking, even though I had payed way in advance. The couple before me was given plentiful recommendations; when I asked for a good pizza place (figuring the place is called pizza hostel), she gave me a name that showed up in Milan. Upon asking again it was a slightly different name that resembled one I found later in the vicinity- which got a 3.6 on google maps. The room I got at first wasn't a room but a former garage on the ground floor- no door handle, NO WINDOWS, no wifi, no clean bed. Upon asking for the room I had booked, I was shown to an actual room upstairs, this one even with a small window. Unfortunately the bunk bed is very shaky and squeaky and I only got a thin drape instead of an actual blanket. When my drunk roommates came back at 4:30am, it was no sleep after that. The dog was by far the best thing about this place, honestly. Staying here is a gamble

  : The location was excellent, its just a short walk from good stores and restaurants, which had nice music playing in the street. Its also not far from a metro station so its easy to get around. There was also a standing fan in my room, which was very good on the warmer nights.
  : There wasnt an elevator, so getting your luggage up to your room can be a bit tiring. But otherwise the facilities were good.
