La Residenza

Good

: The location is just great! Strolling the streets or going out in the old town possible within minutes, the ferry (to Capri, Amalfi etc) 20 minutes walking. It was very clean.
: For both checking in and out a meeting with someone from the property was needed - they were nice and flexible. But for being only 15 minutes after official check in, a 30 euro fee was needed. Same for check out - if one wants to check out later than 9, also a fee needs to be payed. Further, neither simple cleaning stuff (e.g. dishcloth, detergent or dishwasher tablets) were at the apartment.

: Gino was great to deal with, very thorough & friendly. The apartment was huge! It was very comfortable. The black out rooms were great for the kids & us. Very close to the main street, but we didn't hear any street noise. Everything was walkable and we felt safe.
: We could hear lots of noise from the room next door. The apartment lacked facilities - nothing to wash up with and we needed to supply washing liquid/ dishwashing cleaner & bags for recycling (we just left our recycling seperated into piles, which seemed to be ok).

: It was located in a great part of town for accessibility of the old town - such a lovely city

Wonderful
Traveller Type:
: It was in a great location. Lots of restaurants nearby. A supermarket close by.
: No welcome pack. Having to buy dishwashing liquid, and items for the dishwasher when you are only staying a few nights. Other apartments we have had in Italy have had a welcome/starter pack.

  : Good location
: We booked because of the wahine machine, but no washing powder or pegs. Also no microwave or dishwashing liquid. We had three people and stayed three nights but ony had two mini soaps for the entire stay.Dusty apartment and beds, the aircon made it worse and set off my asthma as well as my cousins'. The floor was dirty and the toilet seat had drip stainsWe booked a double and two singles, had to argue with the owner before he organised a second single bed and the beds were not comfy, especially the rollaway bed.The pictures featured an outdoor area/balcony that you could relax on, this was not available. If we opened the windows for fresh air there was construction right outside, so no privacy and dusty air and constant noise. They offered to hold our bags but for a price. Everything was for a price.

: The location is great, it's in the centre of Naples, the host was great it is obvious that they take good care of the property.
: The only thing I disliked was that no soap was available to do the dishes and neither to do laundry
