  : The central station was nearby and the room had decent air conditioning.Relatively cheap.
  : 2 stars is generous. Other than it's proximity to Garibaldi Central station, this "hotel" is beyond awful. The area that it is located in is very poor and heaving with dodgy characters. Definitely do not stay here as a solo traveler, group of females or as family. I was contacted by booking.com prior to my stay to upgrade my room for myself and friend to include 3 double beds and a balcony with check in stated as 12 o'clock. On arrival at 12:15pm the receptionist told us to come back sometime after two o'clock despite us showing him out booking with the stated check in time. Upon returning, he took an age to check us in and wrote everything down including passport info into a ledger. Eventually we got to our room which had one double bed and no balcony. After querying this, I was told that because there was only two people only one bed will be provided as this is protocol for this occupancy. After a few minutes of disagreement with a man that can only be described as a smartarse he conceded that his colleague will get us an extra double bed that night... This never happened. The wifi is abysmal and phone signal is extremely limited. The shower was temperamental at best also. Outside at night was dangerous, as we were being watched and beckoned by the predominantly coloured community that lined the streets. After a few men stared intensely at my watch I quickly took it off and hid it in my pocket, not daring to take out my phone either. The only positive from this stay was that it was for only one night as we would have booked elsewhere rather than stay in the musty excuse for a hotel. Don't stay here.

  : The room was quite big
  : Staff was rude, lock at the door was broken, shower was broken, bathroom was not cleaned and the soaps from the previous guest was glued to the sink. Toilet seat was dirty and there were pee stains everywhere. Also, I tried several times to get a receipt of the payment for my stay and did not get it. Makes you question if they pay taxes at all. This place is shady if anything.

  : Absolutely everything. This property should NOT be listed on booking.com and and should be vetted before. As a well travelled women and I can safe I felt unsafe. the pictures are a lie. its so run down, not even in a cute, old fashion way just a dump.
