  : Make no mistake you are paying around 500 a night to stay at this hotel because of its location and view. Situated hundreds of feet up at the top of the cliff edge there are unspoilt views over the western bay sea of Santorini. This amazing view and sunsets can be taken in from the comfort of sun loungers. The hotel room is one of the many dug into the cliff with vaulted ceilings. Originally built by poor sailors. This makes the rooms charming and unique. However, if it was not for the views and location 500 a night for the room would be poor value. Above our room was another and there was a continuous humming noise from it that made it very difficult to sleep. Although it did stop after about 2pm. The bathroom was small. The shower was basic but worked well. The tiled shower tray had mould all around the edges and the bathroom door would not shut sticking about a foot open. The hotel has no restaurant. It serves 15 breakfast which is very basic. It was much better to go a nearby cafe. We stayed two nights which, having taken in the views and two sunsets, was enough time there and we were ready to leave. The staff however were very helpful and friendly.

  : small size hotel, in a quieter part of town, friendly staff, fantastic views. it felt like a homier, more intimate, less glitzy version of some of the other more impersonal hotels around us.

  : Loved the location away from the crowds but an easy walk along coastal path to Fira and a local bus ride to Oia. Really helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful view, clean with a great balcony and relaxing pool. Shower amazing too and nice decor. Restaurants and supermarkets close by.
  : We liked everything, but should note there are a lot of stairs that may challenge the less fit. Staff were amazing carrying our cases.

  : It was not worth the money at all. Things in the room were falling apart/ broken, the air con barely worked had to get the staff and the filter was blocked, doors broken, wifi constantly on and off and had about 2 minutes of hot water in the showers. When told all this to the manger Eddy he handled it well but the woman Elena didnt. She was extremely rude and dismissive to us on the phone. We had to fight for 300 euro back as we were so disappointed. She then cancelled our booking to make sure we couldnt leave a bad review.
