  : Its location, the friendly atmosphere, the owner and his beautiful wife. Nothing was an issue or effort.
  : The large bedroom was very hot at night and the fan was only blowing hot air around the bedroom.

  : Authentic french property loved the old courtyard and the specious modern rooms
  : The stairs were a bit much with the luggage but we were on the top floor The host was most accomodating and helped us with the luggage

  : Check in time is after 5pm which is a tad late. Would be great if it could be earlier for those of us coming from afar.

  : Spacious room, lovely decor, very comfortable. Good breakfast. Superb location, close to the centre and saumur chateau.
  : Nothing to dislike. However as they provided a fridge and microwave it would of been good to have some glasses for drinks and maybe complimentary bottles of water for arrival.

  : That it was an amazing historic building, we had a huge suite, the furniture, paintings, and fascinating vintage and items of interest in the rooms. The fact that despite its historical integrity, there was a walk in shower and two wash hand basins in the bathroom A beautiful cobbled courtyard, with lovely plants and a macaw in residence! Convenient on street parking directly opposite. Proximity to so many of the attractions of the city. Restaurant and bars nearby.
  : The lighting, both in the suite and in the dining room. I almost poured the boiling water for my tea onto the table as opposed to my cup! Subdued lighting may be good in theory for ambience but when you stub your toe on the chaise longue en route to the bathroom is loses it's appeal! The breakfast is so basic. As any service ends at 8 p.m. the suite should at least provide tea and coffee making facilities.
