  : We arrived at 3.30 on a Sunday to a dark locked Hotel with no cars in the car park. We called them, a man answered immediately and arrived in five minutes. Very cheery man who offered breakfast and checked us in. On being asked when the restaurant opened we were told it was not open until 2.00 pm Monday. He advised us there were places to eat in the town, opening around 7 pm. Five minutes by car. This proved true. The room was very basic, functional. Our plan B to get food from Supermarket next door failed as that too was closed. Close to Motorway and easy to find. Breakfast was very basic but adequate. A family run business.
  : Maybe naive but would have liked someone in reception. We felt we were the only people in the whole hotel. Very eerie. They could have asked for a time of arrival? Or given us a time for check in. We arrived within times given. Saw one other couple. Very disappointed no restaurant open. Chosen specifically as had restaurant and bar on site so did not need to go out again once arrived. Again would have appreciated knowing this in advance. Room very basic. Served its purpose. Shower good. Bed comfortable. One arm chair. Everything worked.
