  : Very attractive room with lovely decor in an elegant house. An excellent shower room was a plus. The parking was in the property and the garden is very pleasant. It was quiet but close to the centre of town and we were able to enjoy the city easily. Our host was very welcoming and we had a very good French breakfast in a nice dining room. There is one flight of stairs but they were beautiful. Chartres is lovely and the illuminations of the town were outstanding particularly on the cathedral.

  : The room was very well decorated. It was larger than average and looked out onto a lovely garden. Secure parking. Within walking distance of the centre of town. Nice tea making facilities in the bedroom.
  : They made us pay in cash. The breakfast was not very good as the fruit salad was not fresh, the bread was stale, there was only one kind of cheese which was very hard, we were not offered croissants/pastries.

  : The location is perfectvery quiet area, but a very short walk to the cathedral, restaurants , and shopping area of town. There is also a nearby bus stop. The room was very attractive, with plenty of room and large windows, which at night can be closed with shutters to keep out the light. The bathroom is large, plenty of towels and even washcloths. Excellent shower. Breakfast is plentiful and includes fresh fruit, coffee, juice, various breads and croissants, yoghurt, and some interesting treats. The host is delightful and she has a very sweet, friendly dog.

  : Wonderful location. Hostess (and her dog, John Lenin), were the perfect hosts. Parking provided. You feel like you are part of the family. Just a couple hours south of Paris, the perfect spot for a night before heading further south.

  : All the convenience of good, quiet location and safe parking within easy walking distance of central restaurants. Delightful Dominique has done an exceptional job of converting a charming house with flair and class to make it a special place to stay. We also enjoyed the conviviality of an excellent shared breakfast around an antique table with the other guests. Even John Lennon the Springer Spaniel gave us an approving sniff and added to the home from home vibe.

  : We booked it with parking but there was no one there on arrival and parking locked. Ants in the bathroom. Had booked with breakfast and waited until 08:30 and no staff or breakfast so we went out . On return the owner was unpleasant . Would not take credit card and we paid her cash but no receipt offered . All in all , below Booking. Com standards
