  : If not for my Camino, I couldnt have opportunity to stay here because of its distance from the big town, Villaviciosa.

  : Staff not very helpful. Hotel is 2 km from the town, bar was closed, you even cannot have a cup of tea or coffee :(

  : La Casona de Amandi is a very stylish hotel located in a quiet area. Our room was very well appointed and had everything we needed. The hotel arranged for us to eat in a fine restaurant in the nearby town. We planned to check out before the appointed breakfast time - but the hotel very kindly prepared sandwiches and snacks for our onward walk. We were very appreciative. THey are nice people.

  : Beautiful building and property directly on the Camino.
  : needed a cab ride for dinner. which isnt a big deal, but I remember fondly the meal that the owner 12 years ago served at the facility. so overall the property is great but the overall touch was a bit of a let down based on the experience that we had 12 years ago which was over the top.

  : A beautiful period property carefully and lovingly restored but missing a few basic things like a decent hairdryer. The gardens are spectacular and the covered Terrace simply wonderful.
  : Regrettably the owners failed to warn us that the local Feria was happening in the field right next to the hotel on the night of our planned arrival, not that we should book ahead at the local restaurant - they knew we were arriving from the U.K. We had changed our booking to this hotel because of the fantastic reviews. We were put in the top of the house in a back room with no view in the hope that the noise from the Feria might not disturb us. IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! We got no more than a few mins between midnight and 0528 when the music finally went off. This could have been avoided - If the owners had warned us we would have changed our booking for another night as we are in the area for a few days. 120 for no sleep and a lacklustre breakfast, capped off with the car being completely covered in ash from the bonfire on the field made our stay miserable. All I can say is they have lost any future business from us and we are regularly travellers through the area. What we didnt like was the complete lack of consideration for their guests - no apology, no help with luggage capped off by sending a relative to take our money and deduct 14 - a bottle of wine. The power of a genuine apology is the difference between this review and a good one. We would have forgiven all if the owner had showed his face and simply apologised.
