  : Amazing location and view. Beds were comfortable and the 2nd toilet helpful
  : Apartment did not have free Wifi, and kitchen basics were lacking (salt or pepper is always helpful) also werent supplied with dishwasher tablets etc, making kitchen hard to use.

  : Great location just 100m from Mercat Central and Plaza del Reina. Nice to have a spacious terrace with a good view.
  : WiFi not included. Shortage of pillows (just one each). No dishwasher or washing machine tablet left for use - had to go and buy a whole tub of each.

  : Location was superb - right at the centre. Very clean. Helpful staff. The bed was comfortable. Extra towels were provided.
  : A lot of broken down things or damaged (cables on walls coming off, sunbed torn, outside sofa was not as pictures with random oversized pillows, broken surface of outside table, broken baskets, warped floor boards from water damage, etc.) made it look scruffy. The kitchen could do with some washing up liquid and tea towel to help keep it clean/tidy. No air conditioning in the bedrooms - fans were there but didn't really do much. The lift broke down on the day of check out and coming from the 7th floor with luggage and 2 kids was not amazing although the broken down lift can be more related to the flats rather than directly with this apartment.

  : We had no hot water for the whole time we were there! There was no locks on the doors no toilet/towel handles in the kitchen or bathrooms! The owners didnt really do anything In regards to helping us sort the cold water out they sent engineers to speak to us however they couldnt speak English so that was even more frustrating for us. When I asked for a some money back it wasnt given and I asked if we could at least have late check out and that was a straight no too. Not happy with the stay it made us late to our reservations that we had booked and we were celebrating our dads 60th birthday!

  : Place was ok location was excellent. Parking is a disaster but not their fault. From.the outside looks a little rough. Apartment was nice. Things that let it down was stuff not working. No heating the rads in the rooms didn't work. TV remote broken all bulbs in one room not working only 1 of 3 in another(little things I know) electrical points not fixed to walls in ensuite.main bedroom is large with big wardrobe small room with ensuite apartment was clean. If your looking for peace and quiet, forget it , it's noisy at night from.the streets below as it's surrounded by bars and cafes, it's a plus or minus depending on your outlook and what your looking for. Overall 7/10

  : It all started by us being 15 minutes late on checkin and instead of being welcomed we had to pay 30 prompted. Per Whatsapp the host told us first it was when checked in after 20.00 o'clock. Due to broken elevator we had to walk 170 steps up/down every time in 35 Celcius and high humidity. A lot of stuff was broken in this appartment. See the images as well. This is sold as luxury appartment....its just not. Way overpriced. There is only a small airco unit in the living room. There is no airco in the bedrooms. There is a fan in the bedroom. Due to the broken elevator we moved out, it was undoable for us to walk 170 steps up/down every time. Its not the host's fault that the elevator broke down. But when we wanted to cancel the stay, the host gave us a very hard time. We had to call Booking service the whole day to had it sorted out as the host suddenly could not speak English anymore. Just Spanish. So Booking Spain had to step in to fix things. The host recalculated the stay to 235/day. We've spend less then 24 hours and where charged 470. It should have been 177/day Overall, just a very bad experience. Mainly because the host did not care at all. I will never book with the 3rd party "Valencia Luxury" again. They are middle man agency using the Booking platform.

  : NOT CLEAN or LUXURIOUS!DISGUSTING! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.First and foremost I cannot praise the customer service team of Booking.com enough for their support. They dealt with matters with care and understanding; promptly and efficiently. Stay Mercardo Central (or Valencia Luxury as they call themselves!) have properties available to rent in the heart of Ciutat Vella. Their photos depict beautiful, luxurious apartments. The reality, do not be deceived by their images! Avenida Maria Cristina 6 - a two bedroom apartment with a terrace which we rented for a week; couldnt have been less luxurious. It needed a lot of maintenance and was filthy! Stay Mercardo Central clearly state in their details and policies that all properties are cleaned by professional cleaning companies. Something of paramount importance, especially during these times of Covid. Our apartment was disgustingly dirty as our photos show. There were stains on the sofa; black hairs everywhere,(neither of us have black hair, in fact quite the opposite!) the bathroom window sill was covered in bird excrement; the shower was vile with thick sticky dust and pubic hairs; there was damp in the kitchen; thick sticky dust was on skirting boards, wardrobes, window sills, light switches, remote controls; the garden furniture was broken; the paint on the terrace walls was peeling off & dirty; wallpaper was ripped, to name but a few issues. The apartment clearly hadnt been cleaned to any standard, for weeks!

  : Valencia is a beautiful city
  : When we arrived the Boutique Market staff could not open the door of our apartment. We arrived at 5.30pm. It took three hours for this 'agency' to arrange a solution and they moved us to a different apartment. We waited outside on the street during these three hours in heavy rain with our dogs. absolutely horrible. we had to move apartments again during our stay when they fixed the door. when i requested clean bed sheets i was told it costs 25 euros! appalling experience and I will never trust Booking.com apartments again
