  : The "room" wasn't as described! It was a seller with bed in shower, with toiled less than a metre from your bed head. No proper window, impossible to air the room. The toiled pump was very noisy. Very unhygienic! This type of "room" shouldn't be offered for stay specially for almost 150 eu after Genius discount. I will recommend to Booking.com to review this "room".

  : Pension El Puerto is very well located in the Old port area. Very close walk to La Concha beach and surrounded by Pintxos bars and shops.Our twin room on the second floor was big enough and three shared bathrooms were located just down the corridor.As taxis will not take you into the old area it would be good to have a location close by to give to the taxi driver when you arrive as it is about a 20 minute walk from the bus station.We were able to return to Amara train station via taxi as there is a Taxi stand within 5 minutes of the pension.
  : Initial access was a little tricky due to our delayed arrival and lack of access to our emails. The property owner responded via intercom which was very helpful.

  : The room was dirty, the air conditioner made terrible sounds, and you had to turn it off to sleep. The noise from outside was loud, but the problem was that inside the apartment everything could be heard through the walls from other rooms, it seemed that the neighbors were sleeping with you. No help or information about parking spots.

  : Location was great, bed reasonably comfortable. Water pressure in showers good.
  : The noise. People coming and going through the night and the doors slamming and stomping through the corridor. The walls aren't too thin but everything can be heard through the doors. I used earplugs so that lessened the effect.Also the room occasionally had funky smells, probably from the drain pipes or sewer as the toilet was right next to the bed without a doorway.The room itself was relatively clean, very small though so only suited to one person
