: Incredibly well designed; this is a studio apartment I could visualize myself living in. The location was central to the old town and La Concha Beach. The staff were readily available and quickly responsive.
: I felt like additional instructions could’ve been provided in several areas. First, I arranged for the staff to leave keys for me in a lock box outside their offices, which was fine. However when I went to pick up the keys there were no clear instructions as to how to get into the apartment, what floor it was on, or the requirement to proceed into an unlabeled, communal, secondary entry containing a number of apartments, to include Hamar, once I arrived. It may seem trivial, but after a long day of travel, it was disorienting and problematic. Secondly, more clear instructions could’ve been provided for gadgets within the apartment. They were no instructions for the coffee machine and while I eventually figured it out, in the process I spilled coffee all over the counter and spent five minutes tinkering with the machine to understand its operation. I was also issued a parking pass as part of my check-in packet, but it did not state how to ensure I received credit for the pass when exiting the parking garage. As it turns out, and I discovered from the attendant, I had to insert my parking ticket into the machine, and then my parking pass, and then take both out and put the parking ticket into the exit machine in order to leave the garage. These may be intuitive to the staff, but even for somebody who has traveled extensively, it was not intuitive to me. Simple instructions would have prevented a lot of confusion and waste of time. Same thing with the electric blinds inside the apartment. There could’ve been a simple step-by-step process attached near the switch for them, but again I had to figure it out on my own. All small tweaks that could truly help to provide a future rating of a 10.
