  : After I booked the hotel, I saw a review on booking.com that it will close soon due to reconstruction, unfortunately I booked it with no cancellation policy and therefore not able to cancel the booking. Nothing in the ad said that the hotel wasnt in a good condition and that it would be closing due to soon renovations early next year. Our experience We got a room an outdated bed and the springs in the mattress where way to old so it formed a hole/dent in the middle. After two nights our backs were hurting from sleeping in this horrible bed. This is far from the standard you would expect from a 4* star hotel! After having notified the staff of the problem we got an over/top mattress to amend the bed. However that didnt help at all, only made the situation worse. After restless 3 nights we asked for a new room. The other room, had a memory foam topper on top of an old mattress. Quick fix for old and outdated beds. The bed was a little bit better than in our previous room but now the room had an overwhelming cigarette smell. By that point we were just too tired to complain about it. It then took 2 days to sort out the cigarette smell out of the room. Another issue, small but frequent was that we needed to go down to the reception every day to switch out our room keys because they didnt work. Very frustrating to be locked out of your hotel room every day and needing to complain about it. These things should be in order in every hotel, and let alone in a hotel that claims to be 4 stars! Cons The rooms are very small, Furniture ok, but very old. Floor tiles are worn and damaged Noise from electricity Noise between rooms Loud live music from the ground floor, which almost no one was listening to. Extra charge for very small gym The supermarket at the first floor was expensive and mostly empty The vending machines rarely worked I paid 1000 too much for this hotel in this condition. (stayed for 13 days) Not a 4 star approved
