  : Starting to look a little tired and the plumbing and associated drains showing their age. Most restaurants did not justify a return visit and all were poor value for money. Our fourth visit over many years but we will be looking for a new venue if we visit Tenerife again.

  : We recently stayed at the Botanico Hotel, a member of the leading hotels of the world and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The first major issue was the bathroom setup in our room. The shower was incredibly tiny, and the proximity of the toilet to the shower, without any form of separation, was both impractical and uncomfortable. This awkward arrangement made for a very inconvenient and unpleasant experience.Moving on to the breakfast service, which was a complete letdown. The service was below par, with staff seemingly overwhelmed and unable to manage the buffet efficiently. The outside seating area, where we hoped to enjoy a peaceful morning meal, was unbearably noisy, disrupting what should have been a relaxing start to the day.Furthermore, the buffet was missing several items, most notably orange juice, which, to our dismay, we were told was no longer available after 9am. This seemed rather arbitrary and was a significant inconvenience for guests not early risers. The absence of effective management at breakfast was evident. An older gentleman in a suit, who I assumed was the manager, was present but contributed nothing beyond serving as a mere decoration. He did not greet guests or seem to take any active role in ensuring the breakfast service ran smoothly.Overall, the lack of attention to basic amenities and the poor management of breakfast service significantly detracted from our stay at the Botanico Hotel. Its disheartening to see such neglect in areas that could easily be improved with a little effort and consideration for guests comfort and satisfaction.This review provides specific details about what made the stay unsatisfactory, focusing on the cramped bathroom setup and the numerous issues with the breakfast service.
