  : We had a great stay at the Plaza Mayor apartment. We booked the two bedroom apartment, unit 2B which was huge, good size rooms and a large bathroom with both a shower room and a separate tub. We had a great view of the Plaza Mayor from the bedroom balcony. The apartment was on the 2nd floor in the Northeast Corner one the Plaza Mayor complex.Everything in the apartment was very comfortable. We had a washer/dryer combo unit which was great as we had been traveling through Spain for a while.The location in the city is excellent, we walked everywhere and the Sol Metro/Cercanias Train station is 5 to 10 minute walk depending on which exit you emerge from at the station.Noelia was a great host, providing us with detailed arrival directions, information about restaurants in the area, and arranging our taxi ride back to the airport.
  : The only negative which is mentioned in other reviews is the homeless situation in the Plaza late evening. Several dozen people set up large boxes as their overnight sleeping accommodations, some within a few feet of the building entry. They did not speak to us or bother us but it did make us a bit uncomfortable having to walk through this when arriving home late after dinner. They were all gone by early morning each day when the Plaza came back to life and back to being delightful with the outdoor cafes, street entertainers, shops, and hundreds of people enjoying themselves.All in all we had a great stay.

  : The apartment was well appointed with good washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board,kitchen equipment, relatively spacious rooms with good light. Lovely old building renovated in white with long French windows , floor boards, tall ceilings. The apartment was centrally located with the best attractions easy walking distance and many pleasant eating/drinking/people watching cafes nearby. Albeit a central location the apartment was very quiet, which was lovely. Our host organized a taxi on departure and also offered to organize airport pickup which we should have accepted as it was very reasonably priced and would have been more direct. Very quick, immediate responses when I sent questions regarding working the washing machine.
  : The bed linen is polyester which I don’t find comfortable particularly in hot weather. The photos are somewhat deceptive as there are no views save into light wells and adjoining apartments. This apartment does not look out on plaza mayor at all, and there is no balcony. I had wanted to see some flamenco, and it might have been nice to have some assistance with organizing this or even just some suggestions of where to book.

  : The location of the apartment was great for us we where able to walk to so many things. Everything was clean and in excellent condition. Very Quiet building.
  : The only negative was that the bed was a bit on the hard side for my husband and I - but we may just like a softer mattress.

  : The location was excellent and the flat was well proportioned and very comfortable.The apartment windows only looked out onto a service courtyard. Whereas this does mean the occupants do not suffer from the bustling noise from the Plaza, this is off-set by not having attractive views. Which is more important is very much a personal choice.
  : The lack of views from the apartment.The Plaza is very attractive, but it does become cardboard city from late evening, until early morning, which was not particularly pleasant, but it is controlled by the authorities and there was absolutely no security concern.
