  : The apartment was in a great location. It was very central with a short walk to the metro and close to lots of bars and restaurants. The building has a lift which makes it easier to transport suitcases to the top floor. The apartment was cleaned to a good standard. Many of the reviews mention the AC being bad, however we found it very effective and it kept the entire apartment nice and cool. The living area was spacious with a sofa, dining table and TV. (However all the channels were in Spanish). There isnt much natural light in the apartment, however the owners have provided lots of lamps to light up the space. The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave and oven. It is also equipped with all the necessary utensils. The small bedroom has a single bed with a pull out bed underneath. However the room is very small, I dont think there would be space for the pull out bed because the door would be in the way. The small bedroom has a toilet, shower and sink in the room. Please note that there isnt a wall or curtain separating the space where the bed is from the bathroom area. So you literally have a toilet, shower and sink in your bedroom. This is a little strange, but it didnt bother my friend. So I guess it is personal preference. The second bedroom had a double bed and wardrobe space and an en suite bathroom. The bedroom and bathroom arent well lit. However, I didnt mind and I got used to it. The blind for the bedroom window isnt secure and will open on its own. It is currently secured down with some tape. In the apartment you will find towels, bed linen and all the necessary items you would normally find in a hotel stay. The apartment is located above a Burger King, we thought this would be noisy at night but it was actually very quiet. There is a Lidl and carrefour ten minutes walk down the road if you search for it on Google maps.
  : We used the washing machine a few times and it is extremely loud and sounds like its about to break. However it did clean the clothes. The Windows didnt lock properly and it is possible to open them from the outside. However, the apartment is in the attic so the likelihood of someone entering the apartment is pretty low. However, still something to bare in mind especially if you are travelling with children. During our stay we asked the owners some questions on booking.com, however they didnt reply to us. During our stay we heard the doorbell ring and we didnt get to the door in time and a boy let himself into the apartment with spare towels for us. Maybe they couldve left them outside on the chair and asked us to collect them ourselves. There is also a weird sinister feeling to the apartment. My friend even commented to say she felt like she was being watched. I wouldnt normally comment on that type of thing but we both noticed it. I think it depends on whether you believe in that type of thing or not.

  : This is a fabulous location! It's a super cute apartment with everything you need. Just watch your head if you're tall.
  : Low ceilings - it's in an attic so we knew it.

  : Very centrally located but very busy street that never seems to sleep. However no noise issues since the apartment is high up in the building. Clean and tidy, comfortable, spacious.
  : Underneath the sloping roof you have to bend over in order not to hit your head, especially in the bathroom. No heating in the bathroom which was cold mid March.

  : Location was perfect, right beside the Sol Station and Im walking distance of anything you would need. Very clean apartment and bright.
  : Roof was a bit low and could be a tight squeeze sometimes but thats what you get in an attic :)

  : Great location close to metro right in the centre of Madrid, well furnished and nice decor. Even though centrally located it was quiet - no noise from below.
  : Low ceilings were tricky at first in bedroom/bathroom and kitchen but you get used to them!
