  : Very charismatic Pension in Granada, staff were absolutely excellent and very receptive of our bicycles. Room was beautifully clean.
  : Some rooms may not have a fully enclosed bathroom meaning you need to be comfortable sharing a room if you choose to do that Was not a problem at all for us. Gave a good story!

  : I had read the review before booking my room and my expectations were low. Im used to basic hotel. This place however was very disappointing:- Shower tray, sheets (not warm cover) and towels were clean. The rest of the room was not. - Sink hanging. It was precariously held by the drain pipe. - Drain pipe was leaking in the garbage bin underneath the sink every time the water was used (Its probably been like this for a while as the outside of the drain pipe is mouldy)- The person doing the night shift at the reception is a heavy smoker so strong cigarette smell on the ground and 1st floor (it was smelled in the room)- Cockroaches (I know what a cockroach looks like if you ask) around/in shower tray. I killed five in total over my 3-night stay- They do not provide a key to open the front door and you always need to ring the door bell. Good luck not waking up the whole place if you come back past midnight- I didnt have a Spanish sim for phone call so a Spanish friend (to avoid being lost in translation) called my hotel to ask them to call a taxi at 4:15am (my bus to Malaga airport was leaving at 5am) as it was not possible to reserve a taxi. When I got back to the hotel I was told a call was not needed because there is a taxi station just around the corner. As I reached the taxi stand in the morning there wasnt a single taxi. So I had to walk to the bus terminal as returning to the hotel to call a taxi was no guarantee of getting there on time. Lazy advice from the staff.

  : The helpful and friendly staff and owners. The location was perfect, close to the attractions that we wanted to visit. The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was bigger than expected
  : Being English, we like to have a cup of tea first thing in the morning, tea making facilities would have been nice.

  : Personally, I loved the 24hr reception and the location of the accommodation. I can walk to the center, and I also can take the bus from nearby bus stop. The hosts and the staff were really friendly, accommodating, kind and helpful! They made the experience so much better. The room itself exceeded my expectations, it was clean, had air conditioner, and private. I can also request for other facilities: clothes iron or room cleaning anytime. It may be some basic stuff but for the price, I think it is worth it compared to other places. I had a wonderful stay, thank you!
  : The room was not soundproof, so you can definitely hear sounds from the other rooms or hallway. If you are a light sleeper, then you may want to reconsider. Personally, I have no problem with it, I had a good night sleep.

  : El Zagun is the perfect place to stay if youre on a budget and you want to be in the historic area and fairly close to the Alhambra. The room was simple and traditionally with white walls, tiled floor, wrought iron beds and wooden shutters. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were soft. The shower had great water pressure which was nice. The whole place had the feeling of a traditional and comfortable Spanish home. The best thing about our stay was the incredibly friendly, charismatic, welcoming host, Ignacio. He gave us a map and pointed out places to visit, recommendations, for restaurants, and went out of his way to share this beautiful city with us. We adored him! Thank you.
  : My only complaint is the loud sound of traffic outside on the cobblestone streets. We were able to close the wooden shutters and the hum of the a/c fan helps to mute the sound.
