  : The receptionist/owner is SO nice! Beds were comfy, room was spacious. In easy walking distance to both the older part of Cuenca and also the newer part of the city. There is free street parking right outside the front door, just have to be sure there is a spot open. Otherwise you can pay for parking in a lot just a block away. WiFi worked well, AC worked well.
  : Breakfast included all packaged/processed items so we did not eat that, but the coffee was great! There is some noise from the street below so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. :)

  : Cuenca was an unexpected and delightful surprise. A little off the tourist track, it was so authentic, with stunning views and remarkable surroundings. This hostal is superbly located, close to the walking track that takes you up the hill to the bridge, and fairly easy access to the old city. Mind you - fitness levels need to be reasonable. It is a steep hike, but so so worth it. The staff are friendly and approachable, will provide help and advice. Room is comfy and clean with a lovely window you can open up and see a view of the mountain behind, and see the statue above shining at night looking over the valley below. Recommend a walk around the old city, and eat some of the food of the region - wonderful cuisine and definitely a foodie destination.
  : Entirely satisfied. Good value for money if you are looking for simple and comfortable lodgings with a dash of kindness thrown in.

  : The room was better then my expectations for a hostal. It had everything you needed and it was warm because the autumn is quite cold. We were greeted with a very friendly reception and there was no fuss with anything. Id definitely recommend this place to stay and excellent value for money.

  : Staff is pleasant and helpful. My room 203 was quiet and spacious.
  : Breakfast was very scanty, pre-packaged items and some coffee. You can do much better getting breakfast in town. No elevator will be an issue for some people. Toilet in room was sometimes very hard to flush, the button was hard to push down. Bathroom looked rather worn out but was probably clean enough.

  : It was in a very good location. Right opposite a restaurant and within walking distance to the town and historic centre. It was very clean and nice to have complementary tea coffee and pastries in the morning.
  : Booking.com deceived us because we saw the photo of the triple room with a balcony. When we arrived we didn't have a balcony and the rooms with balconies were occupied.
