  : The location was wonderful. A short walk to the canals and sights on a quiet street (mostly!) The additional cost breakfast was convenient included many different hot and cold choices, served in a comfortable area. The bedroom was clean and contained everything we needed. The room was quiet at night, even with the windows open. We were not looking for many amenities as we were out and about the city until late at night.They informed us when our wayward luggage arrived at the hotel. The desk staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They provided washcloths when we asked for them. They had ice available at the bar for our water bottles and went beyond expectations to melt the cubes a bit to help fit them into the bottles!
  : We chose the standard room, and it was...small, just like the published dimensions stated. Larger rooms were available at a higher price. The bed slid in tightly under the window, touching the walls on three sides. This was a challenge when getting up in the night. There was no place to keep a suitcase open, so we opened it on the bed as needed. There was a small wardrobe, small desk and desk chair. The bathroom was likewise compact. Clean and modern, but tiny. The shower floor served as the bathroom entrance so we needed to dry the floor after use.The building next door was undergoing renovation during our stay, so when leaving the hotel, we had to walk around some scaffolding. We only heard distant, muffled construction noise after 8 during breakfast and it did not affect our stay.

  : lots of work on the footpaths, including outside the hotel meant dragging the suitcase on the road… or crossing the road many times on the short walk to and from the metro station.
