  : CleanGood breakfast
: Unfriendly staffWorn out room. Looked like a decoration from 1980.

Disappointing
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: Comfortable bed and spacious rooms
: Terrible experience at check in and unprepared staff. I have booked 1 night for our family (2 adults and 2 small kids) late in the evening as a stop over after a 15 hours drive via. Check in was possible until midnight. We were there shortly before midnight. The staff at the reception told us first that there was no booking in the system ( I showed the confirmation email and credit card acceptance), then they told us that they didnt have any room, then that we should leave and find something else. I politely insisted that I had the confirmation and showed to him a few times. He said that there was no room which could accomodate us, to which I said that any room would have been good as we were extremely tired after a long drive and we just needed a bed to sleep. He worked on the room list, swearing in German and visibly upset. After 30 mins he said that he made a mistake and actually there was the 2 rooms we booked!! Eureka! We were just able to reach the room after 45+ mins discussions and process. Now, I understand that the night shift personal can not be the more trained one and I also understand that the system ( apparently) was not working well. I get it, it can happen. But you can not send away customers which have booked and pay without offering a solution or at least a minimum of care and good and polite manners. In the morning, when we left, we got some generic apologies and excuses and a voucher for the parking.

: Friendly and helpful receptionists. Comfortable room and good breakfast. A short walk from both the train station and market.
: I went for a festival in the area and noticed the hotel put their prices up by a lot for the festival weekend. The nightstand wasnt cleaned properly before my stay either.

: Great place for something travelling with the dog, loads of space around the Hotel for a walk. Beautiful surrounding. Spot to park the car. Don't have park on the street. You have to pay but at least its next to Hotel. Tasty breakfast, many options. Iys like 7/10min walk to the centre but its quite enough so you can have a good sleep so its worth it.
