  : The location was great, close to city center and train station. Easy access to trams, 3 grocery stores within 5 minute walk. The apartment reminds me of my first apartment in San Francisco, large bright rooms with dated tiles, large wood trim windows and wood floors. The neighborhood has a mixed variety of restaurants to fit different budgets. The kitchen is large enough for two people to prepare food. There is an indoor secure place to store your bicycles and courtyard garden to use or admire from the unit.
  : The bathtub is old and worn. Therefore, age stains are apparent. The kitchen could use one more sharp knife.

  : Easy access arranged with property owner, even with late arrival still able to get key. Even though the building is in an older style block, the rooms and access areas where clean and tidy and well maintained. The location on 2 main tram routes (1&3) allowed easy travel in and around Basel itself. For reference (Bergfelderplatz) is the main junction where the 2 tram routes cross and the flat is just 70m. If using a taxi also use use the same location for reference. Plenty of storage and cooking facilities, crockery, pans etc. Dishwasher very handy.
  : The bathroom and toilet was cramped.

  : Great location, really easy to get to the zoo and museums that we wanted to visit. We took advantage of the free parking at the house and used the Basel Card supplied by the apartment owner to get around town on the trams that leave from just across the street. Very close to shops and takeaways (restaurants were closed while we were there). Apartment owner is very friendly and gave great advice and tips.

  : This apartment has a perfect location in a quiet neighborhood near markets, cafes and restaurants as well as the convenient tram line. A great home away from home! It was also very easy to communicate with Markus.
  : Being on the third floor, it got pretty warm during the summer days due to the lack of air conditioning.
