  : Very central location! Good size.
  : Felt a bit tatty in places. Hot water was stupidly hot and a few of us burnt ourselves. A couple of the showers that I know off had no adjustment for the heat and was very hot and only just manageable to stand under. No hooks to hangs things in the rooms! Nearest Car Park was 10min walk and cost 45 for 2 nights not the 12.50/night their documents stated.

  : The location is absolutely perfect, you could not be in a more central location. It is on the door step of the main shopping square in York and is only a short walk away from everything else. The rooms were exactly as described and very clean. The house itself is nicely decorated and has all the amenities you would need for a longer stay as well.
  : The apartment is on a busy corner which can get quite loud on a Friday/Saturday night especially in the bigger rooms with the windows, although I couldn't hear anything from one of the smaller bedrooms. The TVs in the bedrooms worked great with TV Coverage but it would be nice to have FreeView etc in the main room instead of just radio/DVDs.

  : Very poor cleanliness and maintenance fir a 400+ per night property, though great central location (noisy, so take good earplugs - the supplied ones dont cut the sound enough when you have a window open)
  : Really shoddy cleanliness - food waste on the walls, grease marks around the cooker and food waste on the walls around the bin. Filthy cooker hood with cobwebs all around it, 2nd floor master bedroom en-suite with streaky walls (likely as the fan didnt work) and cobwebs all around the walls behind the toilet. Very noisy outside, but expected that due to the location. Poor quality ear plugs provided and the bigger issue is that in the bedrooms the secondary glazing window needs to be fully opened for any air flow, then as there are no brackets to adjust how much the outer window opens, you also have to have that fully open. Creates a larger opening and more sound comes in - take good quality ear plugs. Filthy dust covered TVs in all rooms, dirty/dusty ceiling lights in the living room and kitchen. No cleaning supplies at all, so if you use the cooker or have dishes on the counter, or dirt on the floor - there is nothing to clean the place with.

  : The noise ! Being so close to clubs and pubs, and people waiting outside on street for taxis, makes it really noisy from 1am to 3/4 am ..
