  : The location was excellent. Close to the train station, the city walls, takeaways and the local shops.
  : The door handle was missing from the inside of the bathroom, so my wife got locked in. We could have done with being able to switch the heating on a little outside of its preset schedule. At times, it got a little chilly.

  : There was quite a bit of dust under the beds/radiators/skirting/under furniture. Some mould on the bathroom ceiling, but otherwise the bathroom was clean.

  : We were advised that we could check in at 2pm, to be greeted outside by the cleaner at the same time. She was very apologetic. However, we had 45 mins waiting in the car before we could enter the property. The central heating is controlled by the property owner with a fluctuating setting which we were unaware of, so the property dropped to 15c at 4 pm, with outside temperatures at 2c, causing the property to drop cold very quickly and no additional heat source.After several calls to York Boutique Lets, the owner changed the setting to 21c continuous at 8pm (advising i would manually reduce the temperature when away from property)on top of needing a plumber to fix the bedroom radiator control as the room was very cold and clearly the radiator had not been working for some time.We were woken at 1 am. Very cold to find the radiators in all the property cold and outside temperatures now -3c, which caused major concerns due to a family members medical conditions, which the owner was now aware.The heating failed to reheat the radiators until 10 am, which by this time we had packed, changed the nest thermostat to 15c, although the property felt colder than this!, and left the property on health grounds.I made further contact with York Boutique Lets, who contacted the owner for some recourse. However, this was refused with the owner refusing to accept that we reduced the temperature (very obvious if he checked his app history).We never got to the Christmas market and paid 470 for a 1 night, very cold stay as the heating although on continuous 'was not' or the heating would have been on as the temperature dropped.Once back home, the owner advised he would have increased the setting if asked, which was impossible at 1am, due to York Boutique Lets out of hours line closing at 21.30pm until 09.00am, and if on continuous as he stated, we would have been warm and we would have had no reason to leave.

  : Great communication from owners. Perfect location, short walk to York Minster, and city centre. Sainsburys & Tesco a short walk, loads of pubs & restaurants nearby, but accommodation was still quiet. Ideal with a private parking space. Property was safe and secure, very clean, with everything you needed.
  : Bathroom was in need of some decorating, new sealant around the basin, the shower leaked quite badly, and even with the heating on, it still felt a bit cold.

  : The apartment was ideally located, literally minutes from the Cathedral, handy Sainsburys on the corner for milk etc. The free parking was a massive bonus.The apartment was very clean and tidy, the Christmas tree was very seasonal. The bathroom not having a window was showing signs of a little mould nothing a bit of decorating couldn't put right but not enough that it couldn't be used. Would definitely book the apartment again.
  : The mould in the bathroom, not enough to stop us using it but could do with a little attention.

  : Location was amazing and parking space was good to have although very narrow.
  : The property got cold pretty quick The noise from the adjoining apartment was shocking! Loud music and shouting. Banging the fire exit door which made the apartment fire door rattle. Tried contacting the out of hours but only responded the next day. The twin bedroom was not a place you could sleep, so my husband took the mattresses through to the lounge area.
