: Breakfast was excellent, the rooms and very 'country feel' of this place is a real draw. The location is amazing, and even when it was super busy for the rugby, there was always somewhere very close by to park in the absence of a formal car park.
: The pub itself was very cold, and it took a few asks to get a fire lit. The room was amazing, but it was loud above the main bar on the saturday night, and other late returning guests above us in rm 6 woke us several times with heavy footfall.

: Charming village and charming looking building/pub. Very friendly staff greeting and departing
: There was a horrid smell of drains in my shower room that did not go away, I arrived in a rush as late for a dinner elsewhere so did not have time to let the manager know and rushed off in the morning But the real thing guests should be aware of is the paper thin walls and ceilings - you can hear people breathing next door and every move in their bathroom etc...and presumably they can hear you likewise

: All the staff were exceptional nothing was too much trouble. Food was very good.
