  : Did not partake. Its a fair walk away from the building through the town to another venture altogether (The Olive Tree). We ate there both evenings as its dog friendly & Id prebooked for ease. But we had coffee & croissants in a dog friendly cafe nearer the hotel.
  : The heated towel rail has a mind of its own (told the very lovely staff & they already knew about it) but also the water went off (hot & cold) for a short while - could never reach anyone on the phone. No staff on-site (only during checkin/out time). Fire Security light in ceiling right above door at end of bed lit up the room & made sleeping very difficult. And finally tho not 1777s fault at all, restaurant timing, closures & cleaning took place loudly til 4AM so unable to sleep.

  : Lovely individual decor in the room. Well thought out with plenty of places to put things, excellent bathroom, good hospitality tray and the position in the centre of town could not be better. Lovely garden for the use of guests. As it was a beautiful sunny day we sat out on arrival and enjoyed a bottle of wine that we had brough with us, perfect. Parking was excellent.

  : Charming, spacious room and slap bang in the middle of the town, which is an unexpected delight. We did not try breakfast at the sister place as we ate in the local cafe in the square. Would definitely stay again.
  : The building is old so sound proofing not great, guess not much can be done about that.

  : Perfect location just off main square. Very comfortable large bed. Complimentary water. Great selection of teas and coffees. Quirky room beautifully presented upon arrival. Friendly welcome and let us into our room well ahead of usual time.
