Disappointing
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
  : Good location. Comfortable & clean beds. Good facilities, easy to live in for a longer duration. Very quiet considering it backs drectly onto a busy main road (due to new windows).
  : Very unclean & dirty: Ceiling, walls, door frames, corners, stairs etc. etc. are covered in spider webs (from daddy longlegs / cellar spiders). Windows are covered in dead flies, cobwebs, dead spiders etc. Floors (specifically the bathroom and kitchen floors) were absolutely filthy. Property clearly has not been correctly cleaned (it appears just a few surfaces are wiped around) in ages. Managed to contact the owner & get the bathroom(?) floor cleaned during our stay - it was still dirty afterwards! On the other hand clean beds, & clean kitchen working surfaces etc. It appears that its only partially looked after / done to an absolute minimum of costs / standard. Generally the property is a bit run down and needs a little care and attention (peeling paint from walls, rusty radiators, grimy taps & toilet etc). Very disappointing: it could be a really nice place if it was in anyway cared for, but it's too dirty & run-down to recommend. Stairs to the bedrooms are VERY steep: not for people with limited mobility.

  : There was no parking, which I hadn't realised, parking was at least a 5 minute walk away, in a very secluded car park, which was a bit annoying. The fridge was tiny and just storing a large 6 pinter of milk was nearly impossible. The road directly outside the living room was busy and quite noisy at times. It also looked as if no-one had been in the house for some time. There were quite a lot of cobwebs and spiders.

  : We had to check in an hour later than usual due to supposed Covid deep cleaning but there was no evidence of this, in fact the property on the whole was dirty. There were no toiletries provided as per the description on Booking.com which included hand soap and toilet paper.

  : Some surfaces ie bathroom sink tap base, non working surfaces, blinds not clean... found tube of savlon under sofa base cushion.

  : Comfy cottage, great location for dog walking and restaurants Contained back yard for the dogs, essential for us Liaised with Andy, owner, he was polite, helpful and friendly Shops over the rd
  : Lock on back door was problematic, front door sticks, but these are minor issues, we will be returning next year! Car parking an issue, had to park a bit away, as no long stay parking available, despite it saying that there is, in the info book in the cottage.

  : Self catering holiday cottage, in small village. Grest location, with fantastic surroundings and within easy reach of things to see and do.
  : cottage had everything one needed. Most areas clean and tidy with all utensils required. A better standard of cleaning required , dusty with cobwebs. Garden was used alot, but needs weeding, lots of overgrown ivy over garden entrance and dead poppies. Windows need cleaning outside. School holidays so expensive.

  : Location, comfortable bed and sofas. Kitchen well equipped.
  : Warm house on arrival [should have checked that day!]. Parking is 4.40 a day. We had 2 cars. Road noise in lounge [top window would not close]. Dodgy ceiling in bathroom.
