  : My room was right on the main road and right on traffic lights.Really hot but couldn’t leave window open as noise was terrrible.No bar open, I think they lost their licence?No food open in eveningNo breakfast open in morning.Shouldn’t be allowed to advertise as having a bar and food if those facilities are not available.Terrible stay

  : Spacious room and bathroom, great water pressure in the shower (if you've toured a lot in the UK, you'll appreciate this).Located at the top of High street, about 5-10 minutes easy walk from the castle. Plenty of options to dine on the way.Although there is no breakfast served in the hotel, we got a discount coupon to a nearby café, Bake & Co. You definitely shouldn't miss this place, it's a hidden gem with outstanding value for price.There is limited parking possibility inside the gate, but there is a parking lot just across the street, or you can choose from several other nearby car parks for longer stay.
  : All rooms face the street, and our rooms were on the ground floor, the cars and trucks stopping and idling at the traffic light, literally did this on the other side of our windows, just a couple of feet away. By night, traffic disappears, but during the day it's very busy.The rooms and bathrooms have not so good noise insulation, but remember, this is a historic building.Night entrance and rooms open with the same physical key, no keycards, so if you're sensitive about security, this and the windows at street level may be a concern for you.
