  : The property was comfortable and cosy with a log burner and well equipped kitchen everything you need.Fresh eggs available every day, parking in a secure courtyard. Host Tony and Jennie were nice and very helpful .

  : The bed mattress was very hard and a topper may have provided some give to for a comfortable sleep.

  : The property was lovely and well fitted out.Lovely warm shower.Cooker, fridge, dish washer, washing machine. All expected crockery, towels and facilities. The owner was quick to pick up the phone to sort out any queries. I loved the chickens in the garden. Quiet and secluded location. Beautiful garden and stream.Cockeral wakes you up at dawn.
  : A little chilly at times. Needed to get through the gate to enter property was a nuisance at times. Very dark on return. When visitors downstairs left their toilet light on I had to put up with the fan all night. Thankfully only happened one night.Very steep stair case to property.

  : It is a cross between a let with character vs small and very banging heads/shoulders. However, it is a very peaceful location and the stairs were not an issue for us, it had the facilities we required at the time.
  : It is small and the access to the location is not ideal. These are very narrow lanes to the property and if you have issues with these type of 'roads' or farmer tracks, then this is not the location for you. As such we had to book another location for some of the stay as it was not ideal for travel to work in the early hours of the morning. The access to the property is strange as the 'estate' does have separate access for an in and out, however you are only allowed to use the gated access. Also there is limited parking, hence if you have booked one of the other cottages and have 2 cars then it does get tight with the other guests.

  : This is an unusual property with easy access to rural, city and seaside locations. The grounds at the location were really attractive. The owner/host was very welcoming and helpful.
  : Some instructions for the oven would have been helpful.
