: The barn was perfect for our stay and the location was fantastic.
: The upstairs bathroom shower wasn't properly fixed so the handset had to be balanced at a certain angle or held to allow it to be used effectively as a shower.

: The location and size of property is brilliant for a large group. The views are amazing. Kitchen equipment excellent.
: This property was such a disappointment and it could so easily have been better. We paid over 1,900 for a three-night stay, fine when you are expecting a high quality property. There was a lot to love, size, position and views, but the downsides spoiled it for me. The stains on the sofas and footstool were grim, the child gate was broken and useless, the play equipment needed repair, a toilet seat wonky, and balls of white fluff in the living area (our dog was a chocolate lab). It seems that this property needs some tlc to make it an outstanding place to stay. I contacted Bolthole Retreats but to be honest, they have just brushed it off, saying they are waiting for photographic evidence from the manager. I should have taken photos, but hey-ho we live and learn. Such a disappointment, when it should have been so good.

: Stunning property for a weekend getaway. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the large open plan lounge/kitchen was perfect to spend quality time together. Would highly recommend!
