: We loved the location of the chapel and it's beautiful conversion. The peace and quiet was broken only by the sounds of the occasional group of horses clopping past. It was lovely. The kitchen was really well laid out with great facilities. The guidance materials left to us were really clear. The chocolate cake that greeted us on arrival was delicious! There are walks straight out of the front door and a lovely pub within walking distance.
: It was all lovely, the only challenge for me as a tall person, with a long back, was the softness of the beds - but this is a personal taste issue and I know many people don't like beds as hard I we do!

: Good scenic, quiet location. Bathrooms and bedding clean and lovely. Spacious. Appreciated cake, milk and flowers left for us - a nice touch. Owner was pleasant and accommodating when I requested a later leaving time.
: Decor very dated, furniture lumpy and uncomfortable, crockery grey and unappealing. Photos don't show that garden is in 2 halves and only the patio is enclosed. Open part of garden could be lovely if it was maintained and enclosed for privacy and safety.

: Well situated within close proximity to Cheltenham and Cotswold villages. Lovely country walks on the doorstep. pub in walking distance. Well equipped and comfortable cottage.
: Garden not fully enclosed, not a problem only if you have a dog who only likes grass!

: The Old Chapel is a fabulous conversion, set in an idyllic Cotswold village. It is well-equipped and comfortable, instructions (often inadequate at self-catering properties) are clear and detailed. Texts to the owners are answered speedily. I strongly recommend this property.
: Three points:1. The crockery is an unattractive grey and appears worn and faded. 2. The downstairs bedroom is a boon for the disabled, but both shower and bath are upstairs.3. The recycling facilities are inadequate: only one black box, already full of glass from previous guests; no box for paper; no sack for cardboard; no sack for plastic and tins. These are available on request from the district council and should be provided.
