  : Gorgeous antique interior decor. Comfortable inside. Good base for touring and handy local Spar.
  : Garden too noisy and shadowed to sit out. Quite a few cobwebs. Toilet brush revolting. Nothing by way of a welcome pack.

  : The living room was alright.
  : The floors were filthy. To the point, our feet were black with dirt!Burnt cheese was left at the base of the oven/grill tray, resulting in smoking the place out when using the appliance. There was no drainer to dry pots in the kitchen.It was very cold...even in a warm June.The shower was tiny.We had to search all the drawers and cupboards for some sort of welcome pack.... we found it, shoved in a drawer with other random things. I wouldn't call it a "welcome pack" as it was just a piece of paper. It would have been better in a folder with the leaflets, and with the WiFi code stated. As this was another thing we had to find. The Internet was unreliable and kept cutting off. The information online states there is a children's high chair. This wasn't the case. What was really disappointing was when I called the owner of the property and left a voice message regarding the high chair situation.They called back and said they were on holiday. The signal was terrible, and the call got disconnected after 20 seconds. You'd expect a phone call back or a text message with either a solution or an apology. There was neither, resulting in struggling to feed a 18 month old for two nights/three days.We had to move one of the settees to use the fold out dining table and had to use fold out garden chairs as dining chairs. Very uncomfortable. Especially for our small children.It would have been nice to use the outdoor space. However, the garden was too overgrown.

  : The living room had some nice features. The garden was nice.
  : The bathroom was on the ground floor and the shower was mouldy. The fact that we had to remove all the bedding "due to the current situation" and when I saw the mattress I wish I hadn't. The kitchen was grotty. We were also told to bring a cash deposit but nobody came to collect it which meant we had gone to the trouble to get cash out needlessly. There was only one bedside table and rug which wasn't good as it was a wooden floor. The cottage is on quite a busy road.
