Ludwick Apartment

: Very clear instructions from our host regarding parking and key collection. Well located only a short walk into town. The appartment itself is a large studio layout with a well equiped kitchen for 2 people on a short break. The bed was very clean and comforatable.
: Cleanliness was lacking in some areas, dust build up on a few areas and the sofa had a strong smell of dog with dog hair on the cushions.

: Location was good close to the Abbey
: No information booklet/ info re apartment or local places to visit, places to eat, general local information. It is normal to have this information for guests to read upon arrival. Not everyone can use a phone to access local info.Room was cold when arrived, had to call owner and wait for him to get back to us.Place wasn't as clean as it should have been. Quite a few cobwebs, stains on sofa, dirty windows and window sills. Needed a good clean.

: We have stayed at the property before in April. This time it was Dec. The apartment itself is quite warm although we did have to put the fan heater on a lot as only one radiator was working. The property has very high ceilings and therefore does not hold the heat very well. The bathroom is an extended section of the property which is very cold. There is a towel heater in there which in fairness keeps your towels nice and warm and gets them dry, but it doesnt do anything for the room. The bathroom itself is lovely and has a great shower. A shower mat was also provided. Its ok when you first get out of a hot shower but dont leave the bathroom door open into the living area as you will feel the cold air travelling through. We would use the apartment again but maybe not in the winter months.

: The location was good and the layout was what we required- ground floor
: It seemed that the property may not have been rented out recently - lots and lots of cobwebs and it was cold - once we had been there a couple of days it warmed up - plenty of heating available.
