: Stayed with my elderly parents and older couple traveled from US. I had requested rooms close together as my dad has dementia and mum needed a break. We did have rooms next to each other. We were booked in for 4 nights and me and my best friend (sharing room) had to move 3 times. Room 1. leak in bathroom from above (also had to reset key card around 5 times.Room 2. Around 6 trips to reception when Key card did not work. Key card mechanism did not work and had to move at 7.30pm the night before we were leaving. LATE FOR A BOOKED DINNER!!!!!Room 3. Did not unpack. But AGAIN the key card kept cancelling, around 5 trips to reception to reset key cards. My friend has Lupus and joints are sore so trapesing up and down multiple times to reception did not help. We were not there on a holiday, we were there to help my parents. We visited in March/April for a family funeral and thought the hotel was amazing, which is why we returned and recommended this to our American friends. However I was disappointed at the cleanliness of all the hotel including the rooms. Mould on windows. Base of toilets not clean. Loads of dust on skirting boards. Lack of control of heat in rooms. I did not complain about this due to our room entry issues and main issue to help parents, but not sure, even though I want to visit our family friends again, not sure I would stay here again. There seems as though there was massive lack of staff compared to last visit. I wanted to bring all this issue on checking out, but no manager was present to discuss this with for a large discount. The receptionist was very pleasant but had not say on what happened with bills. On a busy "check out" Sunday (after a wedding in the hotel) I would have thought there should at least be a manager on check out to deal with any issues. I do hope for a response from yourself.Joanne Byrnekeelamegzoe@gmail.com07710770604
