Holiday Inn Rotherham-Sheffield M1Jct.33 an IHG Hotel

Good
Traveller Type: group
: Friendly and helpful staff, managed to arrange a room swap as the first room had a non-closable window. The second room was fine though, at the back of the hotel and very quiet. Shower was good, check-in/out were both straightforward, parking was simple
: Breakfast - as a vegetarian coeliac, there are normally only a very few things I can have for breakfast, so shelling out £17 isn't an option. That's the cost of an evening meal near to where I live, so that's simply an unreasonable charge. It might (just) be ok - although I still think £17 would be too much - if it was possible to eat a majority of what's on the menu, but for me that simply isn't the case and I probably wouldn't book another Holiday Inn until you consider changing the "flat fee" approach for breakfast to something that can more accurately reflect what those of us on a restricted diet can eat

: Staff were very friendly, extremely helpful, and were happy to accommodate our needs. They were also super pleasant about us having our dog with us and couldn’t have done any more than they did. As a result we now use this hotel every time we visit family in the area and have already booked our next stay.
: A small fridge would be useful.

: Great staff, surprisingly very good quality of food:)Good size pool .Corporate room is huge with very comfortable beds . Perfect solution for a a family .
: Hotel needs a bit of renovation in some places but and a little bit of art on the walls in bedrooms would be my suggestion . Especially a corporate room 112 is in need of some love :) but in general very comfortable as mentioned above .

: The staff were extremely pleasant, very helpful and the room was clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent with dietary requirements well catered for and staff were very knowledgeable.
: Restaurant prices were a little bit on the high side but that was far outweighed with the quality of the food served.
