  : Nicely decorated bedrooms and good bathroom facilities.
  : The food generally was below standard. Breakfast: Sausages and hash browns were over cooked and bacon under cooked. Cutlery and cups not as clean as should have been. Food marks on plates etcWe did not have dinner on our second night in the restaurant as dinner on first night not great. Bed was too small for my partner who is over 6ft. His feet were hanging out of the bed. The room was quite well proportioned so could accommodate a larger bed. Lots of slamming of fire doors by other guests. Annoying when doors themselves are soft closing. Only one large towel provided for two guests. Window areas in need of work. Some gaps and mould. Location was suitable for travelling but a little awkward to get to the garage across the busy A31 for supplies. No local shop in walking distance.Overall it was a standard accommodation for the price paid, which was fine for a short stay.

  : The food we had while we were there was amazing. Best I have had for a long time in any restaurant and good prices. We ate in the restaurant both evenings.
  : Breakfast waitress was on her own and had a full restaurant to deal with taking orders and taking to tables. So it was stressful for her. Floor in breakfast area was sticky. There was a problem with people waiting when they came to reception because no one came. They pressed button and rung bell and just waited. Then came into restaurant and went to bar but lady was on her own. Faulty Towers was what everyone was likening it to. It could have been so much better.....

  : Everything was fine. Breakfast was good. Dog friendly and plenty of outside area to walk the dog.

  : There has certainly been a change in standards since we were last at St Leonards. The staff were doing the best they can but our room was only cleaned once in a week and we had to ask for clean towels! The manager compensated us with money off our meal and a 15 voucher but several things were off the menu and the hotel was looking very tired and grubby.
  : We liked the friendly atmosphere and the helpful staff.

  : No room service , stayed there 3 nights ,ran out of toilet roll and on arrival , there was a trolley full of rubbish , used bedding Ect in the hallway ,and it was still there when we left

  : Large free car park, frew wifi, very comfy bed, breakfast food (not the coffee), view of garden area to rear which my ground floor room had French doors onto, powerful shower, big room, good sized wardrobe and lots of plugs
  : Parts of room not clean (e.g. skirting board, window frames dirty inside), it was noisy at front of the pub/hotel (busy A31 so would be noisy for guests with room at the front not the rear), no aircon so would need window open (I didn't open mine as room on ground floor and travelling alone), at breakfast only jugs of coffee available as part of deal. If one wants a latte etc from the machine you have to pay, which is unusual for hotel breakfasts (e.g. at Premier Inn etc, just help yourself).
