  : Good location, lovely village, good eating places. Cottage quiet and tucked away. We thought the barn conversion was delightful, decorated and furnished to a high standard and very comfortable. Perhaps the description on the website could be updated eg there were two hairdryers, and tea towels so we need not have taken any.
  : We just could not open the key box on arrival - maybe the torrential rain was affecting it. As a result, we got drenched on the doorstep! Help soon arrived in response to my desperate phone call. It was another two days before we got it to work. All very odd...

  : Parking is a problem in Middleham. Its free to park anywhere but difficult to find a space at weekends.

  : Nothing - there was no woodburner starter kit but we probably didnt need it with mild weather, and we could have contacted the owner if needed.
