  : Very kind and helpful staff. Upgraded room to double which was unexpected. Free water. Breakfast ok.
  : Nice building but needs updating a bit shabby. As well as an update could do with a good clean. Cleanliness of room / building could have been better.

  : Cheap, & host was friendly & pleasant.Breakfast cooked to order, & very nice.Room was last minute, so did'nt expect too much.Had a room on ground floor, but not the best - stayed here before. Nice, interesting location, on scenic square, surrounded by georgian / victorian houses - Vincent Van Gogh once lived opposite - a blue plaque attests to this.
  : Presented with a nasty plastic menu at breakfast - seemed to have a food stain that was several days old! Other things, like jug of juice out( one) with no lid.Tiny selection of mini cereals, not much else. Clearly no attention has been given to the breakfast / dining room. The whole decor is reminiscent of a 1950's boarding house? I wanted to be kind, as the price was good, & my host did a cooked breakfast to order, extra toast if needed, etc, but, for gods sake, all these other little things could be sorted, with just a little care & attention? I don't think the hosts actually live on the premises , & it shows - I have encountered several different staff members on my previous visit?If you're happy with a basic youth hostel type experience, this might do for you, especially at the price - just don't bother if it's for your honeymoon, or a romantic getaway - the relationship might not last?!
