  : Front desk on arrival, dreadful bed. This is purportedly the best hotel in Stafford. Stafford should be able to do better. Very busy when I arrived. They were very focused on a wedding. Keycard didn't work, had to go back to reception. No apology. Sent to park at other end of property. Dinner good, but what was UNFORGIVEABLE was the dreadful cheap mattress on the bed. A hotel that claims to be luxury has no business inflicting this on its customers. Awful night. Never again.

  : The staff especially the young lady on reception. The location was stunning even though was very wet and flooded in parts nearby. The bar food was exceptional. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was alot of choice if you like continental.
  : The mattress was too soft ( very worn) for me personally no support so unfortunately I didn't sleep as wasn't comfortable and was stiff and sore. Unfortunately the breakfast was stone cold not even luke warm. That was so disappointing as the bar food was exceptional even the coffee was cold. Stayed many different places and this was the worst breakfast we've ever had. There was plenty of choice of cold food. Needs to be probed regularly wasnt done once then would of been aware it was freezing cold. People sat around us was saying the same thing food cold but only we spoke up as cant put right if not aware. I didn't let it ruin my birthday night away but it kind of did as I felt let down at the last point of our stay so its remembered.
