  : We did not like the fact we were not notified at the point of checking in as there was no heating at all due to a maintenance issue and it was very cold as in our room windows were not great, a barely noticeble breeze was coming in, we were just lucky with the heavy curtains which was blocking it.

  : Bed not comfortable. Room was coldReception staff needed to make a greater effort to be welcoming.During my stay the fire alarm went off at midnight. There were only two staff on duty, one went to where the alarm went off the other stayed in reception, a group of people were at a fire exit at the rear of the building another group at the front. At no point did a member of staff address the guests and reassure people it was a false alarm, speaking to one guest it appeared to have happened the previous night. I do not have an issue with the alarm going off but the lack of communication and concern of the staff towards the guests. When I spoke with the staff when I checked out he explained it was not possible to check guests when there were two members of staff on duty.
