  : Food good but had to order cooked breakfast and teas and coffees. On more than one occasion we had to wait 25 minutes for a cup of tea to arrive with our cooked food arriving long before. It made no difference if they were busy or not, service was slow and uncoordinated. We booked a table in the restaurant for dinner on our first night. I asked for my food to be cooked without the sauce. However it came we the sauce and had to be recooked. While I was waiting for it to be recooked, one of the waiting staff asked us how our meals were. Now I totally understand that mistakes happen in the kitchen. However we had one person take our order, a second person serve our order and a third person ask us how the food was. If we had had the same server for all 3 occasions, they would have known that the food wasn't right and could have fixed the problem.
  : We arrived at 3pm check in time but our room wasn't ready (it happens!) and were told we could go to the bar, have complimentary drinks and use the pool. When we went to the bar, none of the staff were aware of this offer of free drinks. We had to explain it on ordering the drinks and again when we went to signed the bill (and still got charged for them on checkout). We then went to the spa (which we had to find ourselves after being given vague directions by a member of staff). The spa had no towels in the changing room and shampoo and shower gel had run out. We went to the 8pm showing in the cinema room. We arrived at 8.05pm expecting that the film would have started. There was a family sat in there waiting and one of the kids had tried to find someone on reception to start the film but couldn't. The room was filthy. Empty popcorn boxes on a tray and more boxes and popcorn all over the floor. Not at all welcoming. After another 5 minutes the parent from the other family went to find someone to start the film and we requested fresh popcorn as none had been made available. My husband and I went for a drink in the hotel. Several tables is the bar area, and front room had plates left over from dinner or empty drink glasses. This was now about 8.15pm and the hotel just looked messy and dirty. We'd stayed in a Premier Inn the night before and the service of staff and cleanliness was considerably better. I complained to the manager and was told that the staff were 'enthusiastic but young and needed training'. We had another 4 days in the hotel and the service, staff and cleanliness did not improve. They market themselves as high end luxury that allows the children to have fun and parents relax. I didn't feel at all relaxed, just really annoyed that I'd spent 3,930 for 7 nights on a hotel that was not delivering on its promise.

  : The evening meal was beyond terrible. Actually inedible and yet expensive. Service was very amateur.

  : Staff friendly and service good. But the central buffet area was not regularly inspected to ensure plates, plenty of spoons, food replenished. It really needed a supervisor to ensure that hygiene was maintained and all areas were properly serviced.
  : Not sure that hygiene standards in the food area were being maintained. For example, spoons falling into cereal and fruit containers etc.

  : The highlight of the holiday was probably the rooms and amount of activities for children although still pretty patchy.
  : The restaurant staff need more training. I have worked in a restaurant before and you can tell the staff didn't receive sufficient training. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, we've had all of the meals during the days we stayed and it all lacked professionalism. Our meals came out in the evening with items missing from our plate. 1st waitress informed that that you have to pay for them extra (made it up) 2nd waitress not sure if she was a waitress or just a passing lady offered to bring the items out for us from the kitchen during our desert.. do I fancy a duck braised bon bon with my chocolate icrecream? umm nooo thank you. The restaurant manager offered us a complimentary drink and reassured we are going to have money taken off our bill... 5 off later, no thank you not eating there again.
