: Lovely reception area, bar and restaurant. Clean and comfortable bedrooms. We really appreciated that we were able to have an early breakfast due to our need to depart early for a competition.
: The bedrooms/ bathrooms were a little more worn and dated than the rest of the hotel areas and facilities. However, everything was very clean.

: The staff were friendly. The room was comfortable. Sky TV was a bonus. Food was great.
: We paid over 200 pounds and paid extra for our room to be an executive. We didn't feel the room lived up to this standard. There was juice and chocolate(s) promised with the room. There was one single small aero bar and no juice which wasn't a big issue. There was also a minibar which we would have used but turns out it was just a fridge with 2 bottles of water. There was a sign saying that the reception would provide some toiletries such as cotton pads but they had none. Again not a big issue but my wife didn't want to get make up on the bed.The facilities at the pool were quite dated and a little dirty in the men's. We booked the half board with a promise of a three course meal but when we sat we were told it was a £25 limit which wouldn't have covered a 3 course meal on the menu. We did query it and it was sorted but it seemed they didn't really know about it. Our waitress was very polite and sorted it promptly and the food was delicious. The whole stay was a good experience but not worth over 200 pound.

Disappointing

: Breakfast ok it was hot and fresh so can’t complain . The bar and lounge area was nice and updated.
: Rooms were tired , dirty and some light didn’t work. On our second night in a different room the aircon didn’t turn on. We didn’t raise these at checkout as forgot as left early in morning. For the price ( £100+ each night ) it was not worth it and very disappointing. The rooms and hall way were boiling so we had to have window open which was noisy and meant lots of bugs got in. We’ve been to many holiday inns and don’t mind paying when the price includes breakfast and the rooms are updated and clean. Not the case here. I was also charged twice for breakfast and was told it would be taken off our main bill so will be waiting to see if this is the case and if not I will be chasing. Also unimpressed with some of the bar staffs attitude regarding the euros game. We understand as a nation you may not want England to win but being cocky / arrogant about it made it uncomfortable.
