  : The only downside was that it was very close to the golf club car park and the main road. It was a very wet day so not many golfers luckily.

  : Room was really well decorated and looked great. Hairdryer and iron with board included in room. Good towels.
  : Bed sank, pillows lumpy, huge bathroom but no bath, water pressure mediochre, paper thin walls, on quite a busy road, breakfast area absolutely hideous, dated, depressing and they didnt even stock the limited menu they had printed. We left!

  : My recent stay at Cowdray Lodge was unfortunately not as comfortable as I had hoped. The Check-in time is 3 PM, we arrived at 12:45 and there was no one present at reception to assist with the check-in process, which was quite inconvenient. Upon entering the room, I quickly noticed several issues that detracted from the overall experience. The chair was stained, the carpet was dirty, and to my surprise, all the pillows provided were feather-filled, causing my allergies to flare up. This was particularly frustrating as I have never encountered feather pillows in a hotel before. In order to alleviate my symptoms I threw all pillows into the cupboard. And get some rest, I had to resort to taking Chlorphenamine, which was far from ideal when driving the next day. Additionally, the toilet seat in the room was wobbly, which was extremely irritating with returning from the event. Furthermore, the early check-out time of 10 AM was another disappointment. With such an early departure time, my sleep was further disrupted by noise from guests in the room above, resulting in a disjointed and unsatisfying rest experience. Overall, my stay at Cowdray Lodge did not meet my expectations, especially considering the price point. The lack of attention to detail in room cleanliness and amenities, coupled with the inconvenience of early check-out and noisy surroundings, made for a disappointing lodging experience.

  : Lodge 1The best part for us was the staff, especially Melanie at breakfast and Kinga from housekeeping who were so friendly during our 3-week stay. They made our difficult situation so much better and are a credit to the Cowdray EstateBeautiful location with wonderful views.. Very comfy bed with lovely crisp linen. Plenty of storage space.Double aspect windows overlooking greenery; lovely thick curtains and blindsSpacious bathroom with powerful shower, big fluffy towels and nice toiletries. Very clean.Includes good choice at breakfast in the Golf Club.
