  : Reception staff could use a bit of work. Wasn’t as welcoming as other places I have stayed, especially when you’re paying a fair bit of money. They also did not tell us information about checking out, breakfast times etc. I had paid extra to have breakfast included with our stay, but due to being told no information about where to go or what time we could eat, we decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. We even had to ask where to go and which floor our room was on. I’m not expecting to be told the obvious, but it would have been nice to have a general idea of where we had to go as nothing was signposted.As soon as you get past the reception, the rest of the hotel feels dated and could do with a more modern design matching with the style downstairs. Corridors incredibly dark and the carpet feels dirty and cheapens the place a lot.Room was fair, but felt empty with it clearly being a more minimal approach. When booking a ‘Garden Room’, and with how it is described on the website, you would think it would be more than what was the case. One small plant on the wall does not exactly scream ‘Deluxe Garden Room’ to me. Once again, most likely a personal preference, but the carpet does not match with the rest of the interior and does make the place feel unclean and cheap.It does not feel like a five-star hotel once you get past the main lobby and especially for the price I paid, we certainly expected more.

  : I have been staying at this hotel since it opened and always loved it.I suppose arriving during a busy tourist season was not a good idea.It is still a great place with pleasant and helpful staff.
  : Because of the fact that the hotel was overwhelmingly busy I got the impression that the service was not up to par in terms of servicing the rooms and the quality of the food in the restaurant.
