: The kitchen was well stocked and even had tea, coffee etc.
: This cant be helped as it is an old property but the steps were very steep and hard to manage baggage on.

: I stayed in the apartment because I wanted a location as close to a family member as possible. The apartment was clean, the bathroom was new and the kitchen had everything. There was nice view to the Shard doing Christmas stuff.
: The stairway was an immediate let down, worn and dirty looking. The bed was uncomfortable. You are not not supposed to feel the wires in the mattress. It would be such a small effort to go to e.g. Ikea and buy topper. Then it would have been perfect. The apartment was freezing cold. With the lack of proper insulation in the older buildings, someone should have been by to turn the heat on a couple of days in advance. I had 4 nights. By the time I left, it was much better because the walls had been warmed up, but it was very unpleasant for the first couple of days.
